How Northbridge uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how you can control optional categories.
1. Necessary Cookies
Necessary cookies and similar storage enable core site functionality, security and remembering your privacy choice. This category is always active. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent you from browsing the site or contacting Northbridge.
2. Analytics Cookies
Analytics covers site usage statistics that help us understand how visitors interact with the site, such as which pages they visit. This optional category is off by default. The consent panel stores your analytics preference; selecting it does not itself install an analytics service.
3. Marketing Cookies
Marketing is used to deliver relevant advertisements and measure advertising performance. This category currently covers the OpenAI Ads pixel, used to measure and optimize advertising in ChatGPT. The pixel loads only when you enable Marketing Cookies. Contact-button click tracking is also disabled unless marketing consent is enabled. 4. How your choice is stored
We retain your choice in localStorage in your browser under the key nb_consent, as a JSON object containing necessary, analytics and marketing preferences and the timestamp of your choice. Necessary is always true. This consent record has no automatic expiry and remains until you change it or clear the site’s browser storage. Older single-value consent choices are not treated as consent for the new categories; the panel asks you to choose again.
5. Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time to clear the saved choice and reopen the panel. The page refreshes so a previously loaded marketing pixel does not remain active. Accept All enables both optional categories; Accept Selection saves the categories you have selected; Reject Non-Essential leaves both optional categories off. Withdrawing consent stops future consent-based tracking on this site; it does not undo processing that has already occurred or automatically delete third-party cookies or previously collected data.
